![]() Dick Carlson Upright Bass Dick hails from the great state of Nebraska where he not only excelled in music but basketball as well. Once you meet him you'll immediately understand why. While living in Nebraska Dick enjoyed a musical stint in the wildly successful western swing band Sour Mash. He toured the country with that group from 1976 until 1982. After moving to Colorado Dick played bass with the Front Range trio Black Rose who later went on to win the coveted Rockygrass Band competition. ![]() Greg Reed Guitar,/Mandolin Greg is an east Tennessee native that grew up playing music there. He has a long history of performing with various acoustic bands throughout Tennessee and now in Colorado. Greg was a founding member of the successful Denver based acoustic group White Lightning, which enjoyed a great deal of noteriety in Colorado throughout the mid 90's. Greg also played guitar and mandolin with both The Cletus Brothers and Black Rose. Greg also performs select shows of acoustic music with his son Dustin. He is now returning to his true passion, playing original Acoustic Bluegrass and Americana music with Palmer Divide. Send Greg an Email |
![]() Mickey Stinnett Resonator Guitar,/Banjo Mickey is a Virginia native that migrated west during Colorado's blizzard of 1997. He's played in various bluegrass bands in the Washington, DC area and won first place in the Deer Creek Bluegrass Festivals' Dobro competition while performing with Flatland Grass. After moving to Colorado he joined ranks with noted Boulder songwriter Benny Galloway and Greg Reed, and played in the Boulder based band The Cletus Brothers. Mickey also held down the guitar duties in the band Lost Creek. Soon after he joined up with Colorado's Black Rose band and performed with them before the itch to return to pure driving bluegrass overcame him. Send Mickey an Email |
